Thor Shipping is a local forwarding company that offers global logistics solutions. We want to run an organization that benefits all who we have contact with, in more ways than just the business ones. By contributing to a more sustainable society and working actively with social, economic and environmental goals, we can promote a smarter logistics industry. Sustainability issues must be as obvious as all other aspects of our business.

Our sustainability work

For us, it is important that all our work is permeated by developing solutions which create a positive impact on society and that work for the future in accordance with our mission.

Thor Shipping`s sustainability work is based on common policies, goals and strategies.

Of the UN’s 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development, we have chosen to work actively with six of them. The goals we have chosen are close to our core business and this is where we can make the most difference. Based on these goals and our priority aspects, three main areas have emerged – People in focus where we look at goals 3, 8, 9 and 12, climate efficient logistics solutions with goals 3, 14 and 15 plus Resource efficiency with goals 8, 9 and 12.
